The Murder of James I
Feb. 26, 2014

What happened at Theobalds House? After King James I died there in 1625, Parliament charged the Duke of Buckingham, a court favorite, with involvement in the king’s death. Thomas Cogswell, professor of history at University of California, Riverside, discusses how Charles I quickly became involved in the accusations, which not only followed him to the grave but also helped put him there.
