California Rare Book School Courses for 2015

This program is highly recommended for CGU EMSers!  Scholarships are available, see below!

Dear Former Students & Colleagues,

A very Happy New Year to you all! We hope you enjoyed a happy and healthy holiday season, and have started on a productive new year. CalRBS has entered 2015 in full swing, with preparations for our next round of summer and fall courses already underway.

We would also like to introduce Jennifer Pierre, a first year PhD student in the Department of Information Studies and our newest staff member. Jennifer will be handling social media management, website updates, and other administrative tasks for CalRBS.

Our 2015 courses have been announced on our website. You can view the full list, as well as course descriptions and instructor bios, here. http://www.calrbs.org/  The application form is now available as well. Applications are considered on a rolling basis until a course has reached enrollment capacity. To be considered for the first round of admissions decisions, please submit your application(s) for summer and fall courses at least 3 months before the start of the course.

In addition, we are pleased to be offering scholarships again this year for both summer and fall courses. Applications are available online, and must be submitted by June 14th, 2015 for summer courses, and by September 13th, 2015 for fall courses.

We hope to see many of your applications again this year, and encourage you to send this information along to anyone who might be interested. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued interest in CalRBS and the rare book and manuscript community.

Sincerely,
Susan, Hope, and Jen
